St. James Sunday School
2007-2008

This year we are using a new lectionary based curriculum entitled "Seasons of the Spirit". The lessons for each Sunday follow the scripture readings from the worship service and the opening worship in Sunday School reviews those readings. The material is easily followed with more than enough for a 45 minute period.

The Sunday School is divided into three groups:

   ● Preschool (ages 2-4)
   ● Multi-age group (ages 5-12)
   ● Youth group (ages 12-14⁺)

The first group is taught by Stacey Merrill and Laura Mannon. The second group is taught by Tom Ohlsen and Amy Bower. The youth group is taught by Scott and Lisa Nelson. Judy Fox leads us in some music during the introductory worship time and April Peterson is a great assistant filling in where needed.

The preschool group has a closing worship time in their own room where we do some singing, finger plays, Bible games, and review of the lesson for the day.

Third grade Bibles will be presented in October.

We have a new puppet theater that was used on Rally Day. More shows will be presented during the year.
